Who is Pathly for?
If you’re looking to build a great career, we can help you. More specifically, we focus on students and recent graduates ages 16-30 who want to take the next step in their professional life.
What kind of career can you help me build?
Freelancing, marketing, graphic design, video production, sales, generalist roles, development — you name it! If it’s an in-demand career today in startup land, we can help you create it. And if you don’t know exactly what you want to do, don’t worry, we can help you discover it.
Do I need a college degree?
Absolutely not! In fact, we’d probably prefer you didn’t have one. Degrees are a dime a dozen these days. Your GitHub profile, your photography portfolio, your personal blog, your answers on Quora, that summer internship you did, ie, your digital footprint, is far more valuable than your paper. Our mentors can show you how to take what is interesting about you and turn it into a compelling valuable proposition for any professional opportunity.
If you have a college degree, great! We can help you make it the least important thing about you in the hiring process so that you stand out from the stacks of resumes from people who all share the same paper qualifications as you.
How long are advising sessions?
Most sessions will last around 30 minutes, but you will not be billed extra if you need a bit of extra time to wrap things up. We want to help you get results, not practice counting the clock down.
What if I don’t see results?
Your mentor is going to ask a lot of you during the call. You aren’t going to leave with a bunch of feel-good advice, but a ton of actionable next steps. Results will take time and effort! That said, if we fail to deliver the results you desire, Pathly can provide another session free of charge or refund your previous call. We aren’t interested in keeping the unearned.

What if I live outside the US?
That’s okay! We often live outside the US as well. Pathly is global. No travel is required and whether you’re from Bosnia or Baton Rouge, we can help you get to that next awesome step in your professional career.
Why don’t you take a percentage of salary instead of charging upfront for your products?
Salary percentages are popular now among a wide range of programs though we never really considered it an option. The fact is, that model is totally unproven and it creates headaches for both the customer and the business. It’s also very easy to sign away an imaginary percentage of your income for a future date because you don’t feel the real consequences in the moment. “It’s only 7%” turns into “oh MY GOD I HAVE TO PAY $4,000, THE EQUIVALENT OF 2 MONTHS SALARY DURING MY FIRST YEAR ON THIS NEW JOB!” That’s not the kind of relationship we want with our customers.
We charge a flat rate for all our products so that when you get a great job, you can focus on that, not on how you’re going to afford your rent and your indentured servitude debt to us.
